Schmidt’s syndrome is a condition described by the association of primary adrenal insufficiency, often referred to as Addisons disease, with autoimmune thyroid disease in the form of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, with or without hypothyroidism, or Graves’ disease, with or without hyperthyroidism.
